A fresh flower is a small product. The market around it is not.
Every day, Indian households buy flowers for puja. During festivals, the requirement expands into garlands, puja samagri, decorations and other ritual products. Weddings and events create bulk demand. Families may need a pandit. And after the puja, flowers become Nirmalya.
EasyKiya is trying to connect these separate moments.
The company began with daily fresh puja flowers, starting from around ₹20 per day and offering subscription periods of 7, 15 and 30 days.
From there, the platform’s vision has expanded into a larger spiritual commerce ecosystem.
For daily households, that means scheduled fresh flower delivery.
For festivals, it means advance planning and pre-booking for occasions such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Diwali, Chhath Puja, Satyanarayan Puja, Griha Pravesh, Karwa Chauth, Janmashtami and Holi.
For different communities, it means puja samagri organised around traditions such as Maharashtrian, North Indian, Gujarati, Bengali and South Indian requirements.
For ceremonies, it includes pandit discovery and booking with attention to language and cultural requirements.
For businesses and event customers, it includes bulk fresh flowers for weddings, decorations, corporate events and other traditional occasions.
For urgent requirements, the platform is designed to support same-day delivery in serviceable areas.
And after the puja, EasyKiya is developing a next-day Nirmalya pickup service for subscribers.
Even packaging is part of the thinking, with a cotton-bag delivery approach for fresh puja flowers rather than routine plastic packaging.
This creates a very different picture from a conventional flower delivery app.
The company is trying to build a platform that understands the complete consumer journey: what the customer needs, when they need it, how the product reaches them, what happens after use, and how cultural context affects the purchase.
The founder’s own journey is closely connected to this vision. Saurabh Jha, who comes from Araria in Bihar, began with self-study at a young age and later built experience across research and development, marketing, operations, logistics and leadership. Years of research into flowers and puja essentials eventually became the foundation for EasyKiya.
The brand philosophy is built around Seva, Shraddha and Samman.
That is perhaps the most important part of the vision. EasyKiya is not trying to make Indian traditions faster simply for the sake of speed. It is trying to make the everyday experience more convenient while keeping the cultural purpose intact.
From a ₹20 daily flower requirement to a broader spiritual marketplace, EasyKiya is building one piece at a time.
The ambition is to make spiritual and cultural commerce easier to discover, easier to plan and easier to access for Indian consumers.
Achievement & Startup Journey
The bigger EasyKiya story is not only about what the company plans to build. It is also about the stages through which the idea has already travelled.
From thousands of applications, EasyKiya reached the Top 48 in a TV funding reality-show journey and was featured in Future in Screen Episode 6. The company received an achievement certificate from Ideabaaz Startup at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, and later earned the First Runner-Up award at K J Somaiya College, Vidya Vihar, Mumbai, following its final startup pitch.
Its journey has also taken the brand into entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems connected with IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Allahabad, IIT Kanpur and MNNIT Prayagraj.
A podcast conversation with Bashesh Gala, a business mentor, investor and business coach, added another opportunity to talk openly about the company’s business model, market and founder journey.
These milestones are useful markers, but the larger story is still being written. EasyKiya is continuing to work on daily flowers, puja kits, festival pre-booking, Nirmalya pickup, pandit booking, bulk flowers and local supply-chain expansion.
The stages and awards are chapters in the journey. The real work remains building a service that Indian consumers can use and trust every day.
